The event will start promptly at 10AM PT or 1PM ET if you are on the east coast. It’ll be a pre-recorded event from Google, much like every other event from other smartphone makers during the pandemic. We don’t expect it to be a very long event, probably 30 minutes at the most. We are also not expecting to see anything other than the Pixel 6 series and some accessories. Don’t expect to see any new Nest audio products this time around. Google has also already announced a number of Nest products, including new cameras, doorbells and a floodlight. So this event is likely just for the Pixel 6 series. which makes sense, since this is a very premium smartphone from Google – finally. It’s almost like Google is hitting the ‘reset’ button on the Pixel with the Pixel 6.

These will be the largest Pixel smartphones ever

When Google announced the Pixel 5a earlier this summer, it stated that it had the “biggest display on a Pixel yet”. That’s because it knew that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro were on the way with even larger displays. Google has typically kept with somewhat small displays on their Pixel devices. Last year, the Pixel 5 had one of the smaller screen sizes for a flagship phone. These will also have the largest batteries ever in a Pixel. With the Pixel 6 Pro supposedly having a 5000mAh capacity battery inside. That’s great, since the Pixel 6 Pro does have a 120Hz display. Either way, we’ll learn more about the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro very soon!
