Vivo decided to delay the X70 launch for a couple of days, aiming at Apple

Vivo moved the launch event to September 13. Why? Well, Apple will announce its new iPhones on September 14. Vivo didn’t really mention Apple, or anything of the sort, but it is probably trying to steal a bit of Apple’s momentum. It’s difficult to steal the spotlight from Apple and Samsung, but Vivo will try and do just that. Vivo has been making waves in the mobile industry as of late, as its global smartphone market share grew immensely. The company’s upcoming flagships do seem quite compelling, as we’ve seen them in several leaks. The Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ are coming. The Pro+ model will be the most compelling of them all, needless to say.

ZEISS optics will be included once again

That handset will include a larger camera island on the back, with some compelling camera hardware, including ZEISS optics. The phone will include a curved display, and at least one variant will sport a Vegan Leather backplate. The Vivo X60 Pro+ came with a similar design and was quite popular. The X70 Pro will be slightly less powerful, and the same goes for the Vivo X70, which will be one step below the X70 Pro. The Vivo X70 Pro+ will utilize the Snapdragon 888+ SoC, along with plenty of RAM, and a 6.7-inch panel. That display will be larger than the one on the Vivo X60 Pro+. The Vivo X70 is expected to include the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, And a 4,320mAh battery. Android 11 will come pre-installed on all variants, with Vivo’s new UI, Origin OS. Funtouch UI will become a thing of the past, it seems.
