The Galaxy S22 & S21 FE launch dates have been revealed
This information comes from Jon Prosser, who leaked real-life images of the Galaxy S22 Ultra ahead of the weekend. According to his information, the Galaxy S22 will become official on February 8 next year. That’s not all, though. He also said that the event will take place at 10 AM EST / 7 AM PST / 4 PM CET, and that pre-orders will begin that very same day. The Galaxy S22 series will go on sale on February 18. When it comes to the Galaxy S21 FE, the tipster says it will become official on January 4. The device will have no pre-order period, actually, as it will become available on January 11. So, the Galaxy S22 will launch less than a month after the Galaxy S21 FE. That’s quite odd. It will be interesting to see if the Galaxy S21 FE sales will be crippled by the Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung will have to offer a great price for the S21 FE in order for it to sell
There’s no point in buying the Galaxy S21 FE with inferior hardware if the Galaxy S22 is right around the corner, right? Well, it all depends on the price, actually. Perhaps Samsung plans to offer a killer deal for the Galaxy S21 FE. That’s basically the only way the Galaxy S21 FE will sell well. If it doesn’t end up being a lot more affordable than the base Galaxy S22 model, the sales may not be as great as Samsung is hoping. As a reminder, the Galaxy S21 FE was originally planned to arrive in August this year. The chip shortage affected Samsung’s plans considerably. The Galaxy S22 series launch was actually moved to February because of the Galaxy S21 FE, it seems. The Galaxy S21 series launched in January this year.
